Thought it was about time we had somewhere to share our maintenance experiences!

So Sram jockey wheel bearings disintegrate long before the teeth are worn down.....took me a couple of rides to work out what was going on...

The bearing are The bearings are 626-2RS units. 6 ID x 19 OD x 6 Width

range from about £1 in a pack of 10 to £8 for one if you buy from Enduro (the bike part specialist! Evil or Very Mad

That's a great tip Ian, I heard about the issues yesterday on the ride and started thinking myself maybe I should carry spare jockey wheels Smile will get some bearings as well. Tony pointed out that Uber and now selling 11 speed jockey wheels but are mega expensive for what they are.

Nice find Ian, I'm going to see if my uber wheels last longer than 6months. Maybe it's the size of the 12 tooth jockey wheels that put more stress on the bearings.
